Perfect correspondence of heating element to the drawing, cylindricity of sheath ends as well as elements flatness are indispensable factors to obtain high productivity during the die-casting phase. SEV, aware of this concept, has developed production processes to ensure tolerances to overcome these difficulties. Further significant quality feature of the product is the sealing, which resists to die-casting temperatures and to a non-stick surface treatment of the plate. The sheath material usually used is iron and, on request, stainless steel; standard diameters are Ø 6,5 and Ø 8 mm. Solutions in aluminium with oval shape for groove application are available.
