It is well known that dishwashers are not only expected to heat up the washing solution, but also to dry the dishes at the end of each washing cycle. This implies a difficult condition for the steel components, that are not only subject to humid corrosion ,but also to hot oxidization. During the drying process, the temperature of the sheath may increase up to 500°-550°C. Hence the need for a correct design and development of the product, followed by accurate drying and sealing, and of course the choice of the most suitable components of the heating element, namely the heating wire, magnesium oxide and steel. In addition to the traditional AISI 304 and 321, IRCA also proposes AISI 316L, INCOLOY and AISI 310S products, featuring a green surface finish that is not only constant and aesthetically pleasant, but also resistant to corrosion. Furthermore, special types of steel that have undergone the surface nickel diffusion treatments, can be used for particular applications.
IRCA also develops solutions specifically suitable for water heating both inside and outside the tub.
